Dubois Center is a a camp and retreat center operated by the UCC Illinois South Conference. Camp counselors spend long hours developing “camp magic” for the attendees, and in return, develop life skills and lifelong relationships with other counselors. This year’s camp registrants have already surpassed last year’s numbers. If you know of an energetic young adult looking for a fulfilling summer job, please have them email director@duboiscenter.org.
- St. John's members and others in the community can help the Brighton Food Pantry. In April, the pantry is seeking donations of canned pineapple and mandarin oranges. Please bring your donation to the church at 216 North St. in Brighton, IL between 10 and 11 AM on Sunday (worship service starts at 11 AM). If you prefer, you may call the church office at 618-372-3737 to schedule a special time to drop off your donation.
